FISHEYE TO THE 7TH HEAVEN

Fisheye to the 7th Heaven – Septych - oil & graphite on masonite, 13" x 9' installed

The Fisheye installation is a series of seven figurative tondi averaging approximately 13" in diameter each, and accompanied by a short poem which serves as the gallery label when exhibited.

The paintings were originally to be configured as a floor piece, but later each masonite disc was affixed  to a thin birch cradle so as to angle out from the wall. Installed 2' – 4’ from ground level, depending on the exhibit space, the subjects are confronting the viewer from below.
